Book Description Photo Exhibition – Moetiara, de Parel van Maastricht

The Moetiara Maloekoe Foundation wants to publish a book titled ‘Moetiara, de parel van Maastricht’ (Moetiara, the pearl of Maastricht). The foundation hopes this will put on record the history and culture of the Moluccan community in Maastricht and share them with a wide audience such as schoolchildren. The book will also discuss the influence of the Moluccans on Maastricht. The aim of the book is to create bridges across cultures and generations and promote understanding about the differences between these cultures.
