Meals for the elderly

Villa Aon d’n Diek in Heugemerveld provides accommodation in flats for elderly people (55+). A local couple has been arranging food and coffee hours there on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, special days and public holidays for some time now, together with a few volunteers. People pay a small contribution towards the food and coffee. The idea behind the project is to be able to continue in this way, and to use some cash to buy new cooking utensils. This project stimulates encounters and contact.
