Meet Other Cultures During Lively and Informal World Dinners

The VanHarte Foundation wants to bring people from Wittevrouwenveld together around the dining table with its WereldRestodagen (World Restaurant Days). A local resident will prepare 3 dishes and talk about the dishes and the resident’s culture. The foundation hopes this initiative will help reduce loneliness. After all, getting to know new people from a different culture or the same culture around the dinner table will improve the quality of life and create more pleasant neighbourhoods. The VanHarte Foundation expects approximately 550 people from Maastricht to be present during the meal.
