Thee-resia Community Garden: Tea, Roses and Connection in Biesland

The Thee-resia Community Garden, next to the St. Theresiakerk church, is the top meeting place in Biesland. Local residents are breathing new life into this historic garden, working on a place that revolves around meeting, greening and sustainability. The aim of this community centre is to be a place where residents can meet each other for relaxation, music, culture and neighbourhood activities. They want to improve the garden with a tree, rose stands, a tea dryer and garden tools so they can work together on building a sustainable and flourishing community.
